FBIAA® Member Benefits for Special Agents and their Families

 

FBIAA provides Special Agents with unique benefits only available to members.

Internal Legal Representation

FBIAA members are entitled to free legal consultation by the association’s national law firm with attorneys who specialize in federal employment law that specializes in federal employment law for internal administrative actions and follow up representation as required.

Internal Advocacy

The FBIAA directly advocates on behalf of its members on professional, and administrative matters with the leadership of the Bureau, including regular meetings with the Director and other senior leaders.

Professional Advocacy on Capitol Hill

The FBIAA retains a leading Washington, DC-based advocacy firm to represent members’ interests before Congress and the Executive Branch. The firm’s strategic communications team assists the FBIAA with a comprehensive media and communications program.

Charitable Funds

FBIAA’s two charitable funds support FBIAA member families in need. Contributions to both funds are tax deductible.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit

Families of active Special Agents who are FBIAA members are provided with a member death benefit insurance policy valued up to $25,000 in the event of an Agent’s accidental or line of duty death. Additional information on these benefits is available in the members-only section of this website or by contacting the FBIAA office.

The SA Jeffrey Drubner Legacy Fund

In conjunction with the FBIAA Membership Assistance Fund, the Drubner Legacy Fund provides financial assistance to the family members of FBI Special Agents who are killed or wounded as a result of adversarial action or who die in the performance of duty. This Award for Sacrifice, funded by the SA Jeffrey Drubner Legacy Fund, is designed to provide payments to families of FBIAA members quickly and efficiently.

Member-Only Website and Communications

FBIAA members have access to the FBIAA’s members-only site with exclusive, relevant updates and information. Members also receive periodic FBI-related news via email.
