A Message From The President
Dear Fellow Agent:
Our FBI AGENTS ASSOCIATION is now over twenty years old. We have grown from several hundred agents who joined together from across the country to a professional association of over 11,300 agents, and former agents, with significant impact within the federal law enforcement field. Our testimony is sought before Congress; we are invited to serve on government commissions; our opinion is publicized in the media; our recommendations are communicated to the Director; and our overall contribution is a positive force for our membership.
Over the years we have accomplished much for FBI agents. We have made friends on Capitol Hill, and sensitized Representatives and Senators to the needs of our membership. In fact, the primary obligation of the Association to its members is to effectively communicate with Congress on those issues which affect you professionally. We are continuously striving to build strategic relationships with members of Congress and their staffs in order to better protect your interests and work to improve the FBI.
We have sought to bring about change in the FBI through the use of logic, compelling arguments, and information. We are dedicated to improving the Bureau to insure all FBI agents are treated in a fair manner and to insure the efficient discharge of our professional duties.
As our Association seal declares, we stand for professionalism tempered by dependability and responsibility. We seek to fulfill this role by representing the best interests of the FBI agent member, in all forums, in a constructive, positive manner.
