The Benefits of Membership - A UNITED VOICE - The Association provides its members with a united voice to articulate priority issues to the appropriate authorities both within and outside the FBI.
NATIONAL CONVENTIONS;
PERIODIC SURVEYS - We want your opinion on issues and want to remain representative of the membership.
QUARTERLY PUBLICATIONS - The Association publication, FBI AGENT, provides timely and in-depth articles on current matters affecting FBI personnel -- government and legislative issues, legal representation, employee rights and other topics of interests each quarter. Periodically, special editions are published on matters warranting particular and timely consideration.
LEGAL REPRESENTATION - The FBIAA has under retainer a Washington, D.C. law firm which specializes in federal employment law. Members of the FBIAA are entitled to free legal consultation for administrative actions and follow up representation under a modest fee arrangement.
MEMBERSHIP
The FBIAA currently has a membership of over 9,800 active duty agents, representing about 80% of agents presently employed by the Bureau.

Regular membership is open to all current and retired FBI Agents, including supervisory and management agents.

Associate Membership is open to all retired special agents.

Honorary Membership is bestowed on selected individuals who are nominated by an FBIAA Chapter or the National Executive Board, and approved by regular members have the right to hold chapter and national offices, and to vote in Association elections.
MEMBERSHIP DUES

ACTIVE MEMBERS - Annual dues for Active members are currently $78.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - Associate members pay $26.

PAYMENTS - Payment of dues can be made bi-weekly through automatic payroll deduction.
