National Executive Board

The National Executive Board of the FBI Agents Association is elected by a vote of the chapter representatives at a biennial convention. The FBIAA has chapters in each of the FBI's 56 Field Offices and at FBI Headquarters and the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia. Chapter representatives are elected periodically by Association members in each Field Division. 

 

Konrad Motyka, President

New York Field Office

Mr. Motyka entered on duty with the FBI in 1988 and was assigned to the New York Office. Mr. Motyka became the New York Office Field Representative in 2006, the Northeast Regional Representative in 2007, and was elected President at the FBIAA National Convention in 2009. Mr. Motyka has worked in Counterintelligence, Narcotics, and Organized Crime. From 1990 to 2001 he was a member of the New York Office SWAT Team. From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Motyka supervised an organized crime squad. He is a recipient of the FBI Shield of Bravery and the Spanish White Cross of Police Merit. Mr. Motyka earned his B.A. degree from Columbia University and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

 


Thomas O’Connor, Vice-President


Washington Field Office

Mr. O’Connor joined the FBI in 1997 and was assigned to the Washington Field Office following his training. Mr. O’Connor has been assigned to work National Security Matters since joining the organization. His training and expertise in evidence recovery matters has taken him to several different countries over the past 14 years, to include deployments in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Mr. O’Connor began as a field office representative for the FBIAA in 2001 and was elected to the National Executive Board in 2007. Prior to joining the FBI, he served as a local police officer in the State of Massachusetts for 13 years. Mr. O’Connor earned his B.S. from Westfield State College.

 


Reynaldo Tariche, Northeast Regional Representative


New York Field Office

Mr. Tariche has been a member of the FBIAA since 1990. He has served in the Los Angeles and New York Field Offices and is currently assigned to the Long Island Resident Agency (NYFO). Mr. Tariche has been involved in FBIAA sponsored events since the mid 90’s and is active in both participating and organizing FBIAA sponsored golfing events to benefit the Memorial Scholarship Fund. Mr. Tariche has worked numerous violations during his tenure as a Special Agent in support of the Criminal Investigative Division and has been an FBI S.W.A.T. certified agent since 1992. Mr. Tariche has deployed and operated in overseas environments in support of FBI missions. Mr. Tariche is currently the Chairperson for the Annual FBIAA Long Island Golf Classic and was elected to the National Executive Board in 2009. He earned his B.S. from Boston College.

 

Robert Cook, Southeast Regional Representative

Richmond Field Office

Mr. Cook entered on duty with the FBI in 2000 and was assigned to the Richmond Field Office VCMO Squad. Subsequent to 9-11 he was assigned to the JTTF working International Terrorism. Mr. Cook is currently assigned as the Richmond Division Principle Firearms Instructor, Training Coordinator and SWAT Senior Team Leader on which he has served as an operator since 2002. Mr. Cook became the FBIAA Division Representative in 2001 and joined the National Executive Board as the Southeast Regional Representative in 2011. Mr. Cook earned his B.S. from James Madison University in 1988, was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the US Army and is a veteran of Desert Storm. Just prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Cook was an operations manager for ExxonMobil.


Michael Howell, Central Region Representative


Dallas Field Office

Mr. Howell entered on duty with the FBI as a Special Agent in 1996. He has served in the Denver and Dallas Field Offices, working on a variety of criminal and national security squads. Mr. Howell also currently serves as an element leader on the Dallas Division SWAT team. Mr. Howell first became a field office representative for the FBIAA in 2005 and was subsequently elected to the National Executive Board at the 2007 convention. Mr. Howell earned two B.B.A. degrees in business administration from Texas A&M University. He earned his Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College.


Malcolm K. Palmore, Western Regional Representative


Sacramento Field Office

Mr. Palmore joined the FBIAA in 1997 upon entrance to the FBI. He has served in Los Angeles, Sacramento and FBIHQ. Mr. Palmore first became a field office representative for the FBIAA in 2007 and was subsequently elected to the National Executive Board at the 2009 convention. Mr. Palmore has worked within and supervised a variety of programs within the FBI, to include both National Security and Criminal matters. Mr. Palmore is FBI S.W.A.T. certified and has received a variety of training in both tactical and investigative matters. Mr. Palmore earned his B.S. degree from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Mr. Palmore is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
